Apprenticeships make things happen!

This year has been an important one for spreading the word about apprenticeships across the United Kingdom. The Young Apprenticeship in Health and Social Care is proving increasingly popular in schools.

Skills for Care has been championing the cause in a variety of ways with help from the likes of Alan Titchmarsh and Sir Alan Sugar and Sir Alex Ferguson.

Andrea Rowe, the CEO for Skills for Care has been a guest at an Apprenticeship Ambassador Network reception in Downing Street, hosted by Prime Minister Gordon Brown.

For a closer look at what's been going on, please download Skills for Care's Apprenticeships Newsletter.

One very useful and important place to go is the Health-and-Social-Care Apprentice page of the government's official website on apprenticeships. If you haven't already visited, the main site is simply http://www.apprenticeships.org.uk. Take a look around today!
