Whatever your industry, you need appropriately trained staff to ensure the Quality of Service Delivery. One way of ensuring this is through Training Bomar Services opened its doors as a training provider in 1997 and has over the years become a highly respected consultancy and training organisation. We are offering workshops specifically organised to meet the needs of your organisation from Administrators to Managing Directors, Registered Managers or staff who are involved with the hands delivery of Care. Our Trainers are all qualified in their particular field of practice such as nursing, social care and management within the care home and home care services. Our extensive knowledge, expertise and experience in Regulation, General Management, Auditing and Nursing compliments our practical understanding of high quality care delivery. Our specialist area of expertise is in the delivery of half day interactive workshops to ensure staff have the skills, knowledge and competency to deliver best practice at all times. All our sessions are delivered to assist staff to gain the underpinning knowledge required for their NVQs. The subjects that we deliver are many, the following are examples: In addition to the workshops Bomar Services can deliver a range of National Vocational Qualifications (NVQ). Our NVQ delivery is by the e-NVQ route this means:
Less Writing - The e-portfolio will reduce writing and encourage the use of other forms of technology such as audio recordings for guided discussions and questioning. Observation-led e-NVQ - The message is no longer ‘Welcome to your NVQ – now start writing!’ Our system of assessment planning & performance evidence leads with observation of practice. Confidentiality - It is not necessary to put evidence from work product into a portfolio (Qualification and Curriculum Authority, 2003). Instead, an assessment record can be used to detail information about the evidence and to identify where the original evidence can be found. Electronic Assessment - e-portfolios are found online and one of the advantages is that tracking can be much easier for the learner, assessor, internal verifier and external verifier. Internal Verification - Internal verifiers can focus on the accuracy and consistency of assessor’s judgements against the requirements of the National Standards. Quality, Not Quantity - With less paper and writing, the quality of a portfolio becomes much more transparent and effective verification becomes easier. Tracking and making sense of assessor judgements is much less time consuming. This means that quality assurance can be much tighter, which in turn can lead to increased quality of assessment. Jointly the staff at Bomar Services have the expertise and skills to be of assistance to you. If you would like to meet with us to discuss your training needs, or any other issues please do not hesitate to contact us. We can deliver to your specification at a venue & time of your choosing.
