Fully-funded National Vocational Qualifications (NVQ) in Health & Social Care Level 2
(Posted: 02/03/10)

Cambridgeshire County Council's Organisational Development and Learning Team are offering care workers supporting adults in Cambridgeshire (public and private/voluntary/independent sector) the opportunity to enrol on the above as a fully-funded qualification. This qualification is designed for employees who support and assist individuals with their physical or emotional care, daily living needs or maintaining their independence. It is relevant for home care support assistants, personal assistants, healthcare assistants and residential or day service assistants. There are no exams; you gather evidence with the help of an assessor, which shows what you can do, measured against a set of standards for the area in which you are employed.
